Exeter Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter at Exeter, is an Anglican cathedral, and the seat of the Bishop of Exeter, in the city of Exeter.

The Donkey Sanctuary is a British charitable organisation devoted to the welfare of donkeys. The charity, which is based near Sidmouth in Devon, England, was founded in 1969.

Land Rover Experience West Country, the Global Land Rover Experience Centre of the Year 2013, covers 135 acres of outstanding East Devon countryside, with 35 acres of challenging off-road course.

Local Events & Festivals

The Honiton & District Agricultural Association – “Where Farming Comes First” The show is annually held on the first Thursday in August and has grown to be one of the largest one day agricultural shows in the country.  The Honiton-Showshow is held in the heart of the East Devon Countryside on a 140 acre site.

Honiton Sausage & Cider Festival - The biggest community event Honiton has ever seen is coming to town on May 1st & 2nd 2015! The Devon Freewheelers Emergency Response Volunteer fund raiser is being promoted by the Mayor of Honiton as his charity of 2015 and the Devon Freewheelers Charity.

The Honiton Classical Music Festival - Bringing the greatest new and established talents in classical music to the South West.

Honiton Antiques Festival - The home of antiques in the South West of England with over 15 Antique establishments in the town alone.

Wiscombe Hill Climb - Wiscombe Park Hillclimb is a British hillclimb, situated in Colyton, Devon. The course, which is 1000 yards (914 metres) in length — the same as Shelsley Walsh — exeter-food-festivalwas opened in 1958. The course was extended in 1961 when the record was held by Addicott in a Lotus at 49.3 secs. Wiscombe has been hosting rounds of the British Hill Climb Championship since the May meeting in 1962.

Sidmouth FolkWeek - is a unique week-long seaside celebration of music, dance and song taking place in the charming East Devon regency coastal resort – a must in every festival goer’s annual diary. There has been a folk festival in Sidmouth in the first week of August every year since 1955, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to over 700 diverse events with a promise of ‘something for everyone’.

Devon agricultural show - offering fun and entertainment to families as well as people in the farming industry.

Exeter Food and Drink Festival - The Festival is an annual event held in the courtyard of Exeter Castle and the surrounding Northernhay Gardens, right in the centre of Exeter. Taking place over three days, the Festival also includes two evening Festival After Dark Events featuring live music, chef demos and a great atmosphere.
